India is a land of festivals and fairs. Every day of the year there is a festival celebrated in some part of the country. Some festivals welcome the seasons of the year, the harvest, the rains, or the full moon. Others celebrate religious occasions, the birthdays of divine gods, saints, and gurus (revered teachers), or the advent of the new year. A number of these festivals are common to most parts of India . However, they may be called by different names in various parts of the country or may be celebrated in a different fashion.

the Tourists and the local craftsmen/performers interface with each other, appreciate various dance- forms. In short we at Quantum make you join the festivals, enjoy the Colour, Rhythm and Gaiety all the way!!

Farm/Rural Tourism

India is a country where almost 74% of its population lives in about 7 million villages. The trends of industrialization and the stresses of Urban lifestyles have led to a “counter-urbanisation” syndrome. Therefore, there is a growing interest amongst urbanites to visit and familiarize themselves with rural lifestyles. India is one of the leading countries showcasing the rural life, art, culture and heritage at rural locations, thereby helping the rural community economically as well as socially. Rural tourism is multi-faceted and entails farm/agricultural tourism, cultural tourism, nature tourism, adventure tourism and eco-tourism. Rural tourism has typical characteristics like; it is experience oriented, the locations are sparsely populated, predominantly in natural environment, exhibiting the typical

rural lifestyles like manual ploughing, farming, milking cows, taking bath in an open pond or near the wells etc. Thus, it meshes with seasonality and local events and is based on preservation of local culture, traditions & heritage.

We at Quantum provide you an opportunity and the necessary service for you to avail of such an unique experience of rural/farm tourism in India , wherein you can also render a helping hand in the rural development. “ An experience of a life time .”

Quantum
is associated with a voluntary organization, namely Jeevan Rekha Parishad who has been promoting tribal uplift-ment and rural development. We help you in getting associated with the NGO enabling you to have a rare opportunity of serving the rural population of India .

Tea/Spice Tourism

Tea Tourism

Early 19th century saw the discovery of tea in India and hence the birth of the tea industry. The Singpo tribal in Assam made a drink from a wild bush that was later discovered as tea plants. Tea in those days was brewed by the Burmese method that involved pickling of leaves. The first sample of manufactured tea in Assam was ready in 1837. The next year, the first shipment of 8 chests of Indian tea was sent to England . In India there are few states which are high lighted in the sector of Tea production these could become major destination in the field of tea production or the

phenomenon of Tea tourism may grow in these states.

Spice Tourism

In ancient Egypt cassia and cinnamon fetched a high price because they were essential for embalming; so too were anise, marjoram and cumin, used to rinse out the innards of the worthy dead. Spices preserve, and they also make the poorly preserved palatable, masking the appetite-killing stench of decay.

India , the front runner in spices production, offers a variety of it, namely cardamom, cinnamon, pepper etc. These are mostly produced in southern parts of India.

We at Quantum make you travel through the pollution free greeneries, enjoying the fragrance of the Indian Spices and aroma of the Garden fresh Tea leaves, reminding you the ethnic spiced Indian cuisines and the delightful Indian Tea.

Medical Tourism

Medical Tourism implies going to another country for the purpose of getting treated in a better way. For many people, ailments may be the prime factor for visiting another country because either they cannot find the same standard of treatment in their own country or simply cannot afford the cost of it. For some others, medical tourism can also be clubbed with a relaxing vacation.

Due to its booming private health-care sector promoting ‘ high-tech healing' , India is soon catching up as a ‘ Global Healing Destination' . For many tourists India offers much cheaper option for world class medical treatment (General or Surgical) without compromising on quality. Moreover,

, it is not just the allopathic treatment that is on offering; a few renowned Indian hospitals have also achieved landmark standards in alternate systems of medicine and treatment, such as homeopathy, acupressure, ayurveda, naturopathy etc.

Price Comparison

Significant cost differences exist between U.K. and India or India and US when it comes to medical treatment. India is not only cheaper but the waiting time is almost nil. This is due to the easy accessibility to the private sector which comprises of hospitals and clinics with the latest technology and best practitioners .

Medical tourism has been in India from years; however it has largely been unorganised with the patients generally dependant on individuals who guide more or less in a self profitable way. Further many other patients are coming through direct contact with hospitals in which case locating a right hospital is quite a long/tiresome and tedious work. It also leaves visitors to make all other arrangements on their own which can sometime be quite tough in a foreign country.

We at Quantum understand that its not an easy decision to trust some one for medical treatments. We as a company have come forward to address these problems and to make this service sector industry more organised. We have worked out all inclusive medical treatment packages, including patients' treatment, accommodation, food for the persons accompanying the patient, airport transfers, post operation recuperation holidays as well as host of other facilities.
